As such, ABS places the highest premium on client service and is committed to personal and prompt attention to each client.
Alaska Billing Services has initiated the following client service standards:
ABS Account Support is personally available to you during normal business hours (Mon thru Fri 9:00AM - 5:00PM)
- A real, live person will be available to answer your question or concern.
- If a particular ABS Team member is unavailable at the time of your call our ACD system will allow you to reach another ABS Team member or present the option to record voicemail.
- If a particular ABS Team member is unavailable for an extended period, a message will be supplied with an alternate ABS contact.
- Our goal is always to return all voicemail or e-mail within one business day.
ABS Account Support is committed to providing the best Medical Billers and Management resources available in the field.
- ABS assigns dedicated resources for Payor Management and maintains aggressive Payor Management and Denials Management programs.
- Every Medical Claim will be filed in a timely fashion after being reviewed for accuracy and completeness.
- Every outstanding Medical Claim (of a designated age) will be researched for timely payment; up to and including the filing of Appeals.
- Changes in Payor or Provider Enrollment requirements will be addressed by our Account Management Team and driven to resolution.
- ABS assigns dedicated resources for processing Statements, Patient Inquiry & Balance Recovery, Collections, Coding or Hardship Reviews.

- ABS regularly invests in the latest Technologies, Reimbursement strategies and educational forums available to our industry.
- ABS offers our Practice management expertise and IT resources to benefit our Practice partners. Including PMS Systems, Imaging and Remote Access.
- The Account Management team will spend as much time as necessary to get to know you, the needs of your practice and your medical specialty.
